Roxanne Puno, M.A., CCC-SLP


Roxanne (or Roxey, as many clients know her) is the founder of Milestone Speech Therapy and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) as well as a California State License as a practicing Speech-Language Pathologist. Roxanne earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from California State University, Sacramento and a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Northern Iowa (Go Panthers!).

Roxanne has a wide variety of experiences working with clients across the lifespan (birth to geriatric). Her experiences include private clinics, home-based, school setting, acute hospital, outpatient rehabilitation and short-term and long-term rehabilitation in skilled nursing facilities. She has a special interest in early intervention, Autism Spectrum Disorders, language development across childhood, Aphasia, and swallowing disorders. Roxanne is Hanen certified in the It Takes Two to Talk program. Roxanne is a life-long learner and enjoys diving deep into new evidenced-based treatment and methods. She is passionate and committed to providing effective and evidenced-based treatment to achieve the best outcomes for her clients. Roxanne enjoys collaborating with other professionals and strongly believes in the promotion of patient-centered team-based care to best serve her clients. It is her number one priority to give you the best care possible to achieve your goals!

When Roxanne is not caring for her clients she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, hiking with her pup Sasha, playing volleyball, traveling to new places, watching funny movies, indulging in yummy desserts, and visiting the “Happiest Place On Earth” — Disneyland!
